CHRISTMAS PRESENTS FOR STRING PLAYERS

Struggling to think of a suitable present for your string playing friends or family? One idea is to order a Strings' Christmas gift bag (see later) but for a real novelty, we have some old back issues of The Strad magazine.

Most are dated from 1968 through to 1979 though we do have one copy from September 1954 priced Ninepence! There are several complete sets at £10 per set (1969, 1976 and others). They are all in good condition considering their age and prices can be negotiable for individual issues! And now bags....Last year, our hard wearing, hand-printed cotton bags proved very popular for storing selections of accessories, so we are offering them again this year.
We've put together a few selections which may be of interest, such as our Instrument Care Kit (pictured on the left).

This includes conservation-grade wax polish developed by the British Museum plus a cloth in 15x20cm bag all for £6.81 excl VAT.

Another possibility is a Wolf violin shoulder-rest in 25x30cm bag at £22.97 excl VAT.

Gift Bag selection two (pictured left) is a set of 4/4 Piranito violin strings, 3V Hidersine rosin, A440 tuning fork in 15x20cm bag at £22.44 excl VAT.
