MANDOLIN STRINGS

In the next few months, we hope to be introducing a range of mandolins. Our workshop manager Jon Springall is an experienced player and restorer of these instruments and with his knowledge and expertise, we look forward to bringing another product under the Strings umbrella.

In preparation, we now have some mandolin strings in stock, available to customers in the shop or online. There are just two brands to start with: Thomastik Prazision at £24.99 and Fisoma 80/20 at £13.99.

The Thomastik is a modern, classic style flat wound string, suited in particular to German and oval holed mandolins. The Fisoma is a bronze wound, light tension string best suited to Neopolitan and antique mandolins.
